The AuSable River in Michigan has become one of my favorites! I wouldn’t recommend fly fishing on it unless you are EXTREMELY patient, but it is perfect for kayaking!
We only had one capsize this trip down the river and no phones were lost :D
It was wonderful to have to wear sweats one last time before coming back to Texas to just sweat for the next few months!
